Leonardo is currently an Associate Professor at Audencia Business School, in Nantes, France, after six years (2016-2021) as Assistant Professor at Coppead Graduate School of Business, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Leonardo holds a PhD in Business & Management from University of Manchester (2016) and has over 20 years of professional experience that includes managerial positions, consultancy and executive training, in sectors such as retailing, consumer goods, industry and media.
Leonardo’s research is focused on transparency and sustainability in supply networks. Publication outlets include Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Production Economics, among others. He is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the International Journal of Operations and Production Management.
In March 2018, Leonardo was elected for the IPSERA Executive Committee, and in April 2021 for IPSERA Vice-Presidency (2021-2023).
