IPSERA 2027 Doctoral Workshop

We welcome PhD researchers in purchasing and supply management to submit their research proposals and participate in the IPSERA 2027 Doctoral Workshop. The workshop brings together doctoral researchers and faculty mentors to discuss emerging research topics and provide constructive, developmental feedback.
About the workshop
The Doctoral Workshop is designed for PhD researchers at different stages of their doctoral journey whose work concerns purchasing, procurement, supply management or closely related fields.
Participants discuss research that forms part of their doctoral dissertation, exchange ideas with peers and receive focused feedback from experienced IPSERA faculty mentors.
Application process
Step 1 · Statement of interest
PhD researchers interested in presenting their work must first submit a statement of interest containing:
- Name and institutional affiliation
- PhD supervisor or supervisors
- Current stage in the doctoral process
- Title of the research
- A brief description of the research project
Step 2 · Research proposal
Applicants progressing from the statement of interest stage must submit a full research proposal that:
- Forms part of the PhD dissertation
- Does not exceed 20 pages
- Clearly presents the research problem and objectives
- Outlines the theoretical background and methodology
- Explains the expected contribution of the research

Important: use the Express route only if you need visa support. Otherwise, please use the Regular route. Each applicant should submit through one route only.
Workshop experience
The workshop is a developmental forum. Doctoral researchers discuss their work in a focused setting and receive feedback on the framing of the research problem, theoretical foundations, research design and expected contribution.
The aim is to help participants strengthen the key choices shaping their doctoral research while becoming part of the IPSERA academic community.
Submission system
Statements of interest and research proposals must be submitted through the IPSERA 2027 submission system. Before starting, please check the key dates carefully and make sure that you have selected the correct route.
